Liz

Liz is a CIPD-qualified trainer and coach specialising in mental health, wellbeing, supportive communication and resilience. She brings 25 years of experience across the public, private and charity sectors, with a career spanning training, social care, support roles, line management and service management.

Liz has been part of the Samaritans Training team for over 10 years and has extensive experience delivering engaging workshops to diverse audiences across a wide range of organisations. Her sessions focus on giving people practical skills and tools to support their own wellbeing, communicate confidently with others and respond more effectively when someone may be struggling.

Passionate about creating safe, inclusive and supportive learning environments, Liz has a particular interest in neurodiversity and has experience coaching neurodivergent clients in workplace settings. She holds a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism and has completed Mental Health First Aid Instructor CPD in neurodiversity, alongside qualifications in coaching, supervision and management.

Liz also provides one-to-one listening support and is continuing her professional development in Health & Wellbeing Coaching. With a warm, reassuring and engaging style, she enjoys helping people explore challenging and sensitive topics and is passionate about creating the space for open conversations around mental health, resilience and wellbeing.
