The Mental Health Aware course is an introductory four hour course designed to raise awareness of mental health and related topics. It is delivered through a mix of presentations, group discussions, activities and videos.

Learning outcomes

On completing the course you will be 'Mental Health Aware' and you will have:

An understanding of what mental health is and how to challenge stigma
A basic knowledge of poor mental health
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing poor mental health
